Pokémon Go: How to Find (& Catch) Shiny Cotton

Shiny Cottonee makes its Pokémon Go debut during the Lush Jungle event. To find its shiny shape, attend the Cottonee Spotlight event.

Shiny Cottonee does his thing Pokémon Go debut in the next upcoming event. Not only that, but there will be a few ways for coaches to increase their chances of finding one. Cottonee is a Pokémon that originated in Pokémon black and white as one of the region’s few grass-type Pokémon. After Generation Six introduced Fairy-typing, Cottonee changed into a Grass and Fairy-type Pokémon. After Cottonee has been exposed to a sunstone, it will evolve into its final form Whimsicott. While both Cottonee and its development have been a part of Pokémon Go for a few years now, its shiny shape has just been added to the game.

It will be included as part of Pokémon Go’er Lush Jungle event. It will take place on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from kl. 10.00 to Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at. 20.00 local time. In addition, coaches can also find Formantis, Lurantis and Tapu Lele as new additions. The Lush Jungle event is strongly focused on the grass-type Pokémon that emerged from Pokémon Sun and Moon’s Akala Island. In that title, the four main islands were separated by large bodies of water. Each of them had its own culture, the alleys of Pokémon and the protective deity who protected it.

With Shiny Cottonee joint Pokémon Go from March 22, this is where coaches can start chasing. Fortunately, Pokémon Go hosts a special Cottonee spotlight event. From Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10.00 to Sunday 27 March 2022 at 20:00 local time, Cottonee will have drastically increased spawn speed, but exclusively inside parks. Take a walk to a nearby park during this time to get the best chance to meet Shiny Cottonee. It is important to mention that there is no guarantee that it will spawn. These are just different ways to increase the chances of encountering.

A few items will also increase the spawn speed of all Pokémon below Pokémon Go’er Cottonee Spotlight event.

  • Lure modules: Players can place these on a Poké Stop to increase the spawn speed of nearby Pokémon for 30 minutes. Nearby players will also receive the benefits of this item.
  • Incense: This will increase the spawn speed for all Pokémon for 30 minutes, but only for the player.

The best thing to do would be to attend the Cottonee Spotlight event. Hopefully the weather is right for the player during this period, however Pokémon Go is about going outside and seeing the world. The game, which adds more spawns to physical locations, pushes players to see this world. Not only that, but other players will probably have the same idea in mind. Parks are likely to have tons of Poké Stops with active lure modules. Find a comfortable bench and catch every single Cottonee that pops up. This will clear the screen, causing more Cottonee to appear. Hopefully Shiny Cottonee will be among this batch.
