The first Kirby and the Forgotten Land Waddle Dee in Circuit Speedway is assigned to complete the race in 25 seconds, but there is also a goal to complete it in less than 20 seconds. At the beginning of Circuit Speedway there is a car that can be used to become Car Mouth Kirby. However, players can also run ahead like regular Kirby to clear the course before completing the race.

When the race starts, players must constantly keep the boost down and look for the white and red stacks of tires. Kirby can jump over the top of the deck stacks to cut through the track instead of walking the long way around the turns. There are a few muddy parts of the course to avoid, as well as enemies and obstacles if they were not cleared beforehand. Until Kirby and the Forgotten Land‘s Bilmund Kirby booster for the entire race and the shortcuts are used, players must be able to reach the finish line in less than 20 seconds. The first Waddle Dee will be on the gold crown pedestal at the end of the race.

Kirby can drop a bomb to press the button on the platform, which opens the gate on the left.

In the space past the gate, there is another set of movable platforms with a button at the end. A bomb can be dropped just as the two platforms touch each other to reach the button with the correct timing. Pressing the button opens the door Kirby and the Forgotten Land‘s other Waddle Dee and Circuit Speedway. Near the exit to this area on the right there is a secret area covered with bushes. Players can cut the plants down and enter through the small opening to find the third Waddle Dee trapped in a treasure chest. The last run must be completed in less than 50 seconds to save Kirby and the Forgotten Land‘s last Waddle Dee and Circuit Speedway. Players must also boost through the two cardboard shortcuts along the course. From the starting line, players must go up the ramp and jump off to the lower part of the course to the right. The first cardboard path is in the fence just before the road turns, so Kirby will have to jump through the boxes while boosting. From there, players can ride around on the circular platform until they reach the low white ramp.

At the ramp, players must jump off the field to the north to boost through the second parrot path. There are two more circular platforms following the shortcut that rotate in opposite directions, so players must first walk around to the right and then to the left side of the other. Kirby can then jump up the ramps instead of driving around the turns to save some time and save the last Kirby and the Forgotten Land Waddle Dee. Following the ramps, the last stretch of this track has a pattern of obstacles to avoid. There will be an obstacle in the middle, then two on each side in a repeated pattern until the finish line. If all the shortcuts are taken, players should reach the end in about 40 seconds. Once the race is complete, players can assemble the fourth Waddle Dee from the pedestal. The end of the Circuit Speedway stage enters Kirby and the Forgotten Land is just to the right of the pedestals, and the finish unlocks the next level of the Wondaria Remains.
