Disney + The book about Boba Fett looks to be yet another exciting, character-driven Star wars history supported by its promising cast. Although very little information on spin-off to The Mandalorian was revealed before the release, a few members of the cast were known, and the first few episodes revealed a host of new characters along with the returning stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. With Disney Star wars series, all based on some climactic crossover event, Boba Fett‘s story has never been more exciting.
The book about Boba Fett takes place after the second season of The Mandalorian and in parallel with the events Ahsoka, the series after the titular former Jedi. In the series, bounty hunters Boba Fett and Fennec Shand try to secure control of the desert planet Tatooine. With the death of former criminal leader Jabba the Hutt, Fett and Shand are able to rob the seated steward of the underworld, as seen in last paragraph of The Mandalorian. How the two mercenaries will fare as leaders of a huge, supernatural crime syndicate will be decided in Boba Fett.
Part of what made Disney’s previous Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, successful was its star crew. It seems to Boba Fett‘s cast of stars will be a worthy follow-up, with two lead actors returning to their roles. Balancing sci-fi action with criminal intrigue is key Boba Fetts success, a feat these experienced artists are more than qualified for. Here is a guide to the cast and the characters from The book about Boba Fett.
Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett
Temuera Morrison plays Boba Fett. Cloned son of infamous mercenary Jango Fett, Boba is also a bounty hunter, though he wants to achieve his own fame. Ming-Na Wen Som Fennec Shand
Also returns to his role from The Mandalorian, Ming-Na Wen fits perfectly as Fennec Shand. Mercenary and partner of Boba Fett, Fennec aims to help Boba take over the criminal world in Tatooine. The actress has a long history of playing enigmatic warriors; Ming-Na Wen voiced the animated heroine Mulan, and starred as the super-agent Melinda May in Marvel’s Agents from SHIELD Some of Wen’s other roles have been in Disney +’s The bad batch, animated series Batmanand medical drama IS. Wen will next appear in the HBO Max animated series Gremlins: Mogwais Secrets.
